Beginner
Tabla beginner course covers all the basic aspects of introduction to tabla. You will get a good understanding of the parts of Tabla and how to play different syllables or letters, which form the building blocks. Using these syllables, you will learn the first composition – Taal Dadra. You will also understand how this Taal is played and how to use it to accompany different songs. You will also be able to play the core words in tabla like Ta, Na, Ge, Ka, Tin, Tita and Tirakita along with the popular phrases that are used to practice.
Intermediate
Intermediate level tabla training will be gievn in which a detailed introduction to the Tabla solo will be given. In this course you will learn Kayadas, Paltas, Tihais in some mainly used classical talas. Along with that you also will be given knowledge of variations in different talas which is called as Prakars. You will also learn the history of entire Indian music along with some further definitions. You will be given practice on how to accompany with different instruments and vocals. An introduction to stage solos will be given too. This course will definitely lay a foundation to develop your hand for the expert training in the Tabla.
Advanced
A further step from the intermediate phase of the Tabla will be the advanced batch. This will be a degree course and even government approved certifications will be provided for it. Detailed study of tabla will be given which will included all the parts of tabla from Tabla solo in 4-5 taals along with learning concepts of accompanying tabla in Light music, classical music, jugalbandi, western music and even covers songs. This will be the final stage
